He was born in Istanbul in 1968. After graduating from the German High School, he graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of English Business Administration. In 1985, while continuing his high school education, he entered the tourism sector and the business world by working as a guide. In 1991, after completing his university education, he started a company that provides package tour and hotel accommodation services. At the end of 33 years in the tourism sector, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who entered the field of hotel management in 2000, was appointed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the first cabinet of the Presidential Government System. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy took office as Minister on July 9, 2018. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who speaks German and English very well, is married to Pervin Ersoy and has two children.
