The Lieutenant Colonel Hüseyin Avni Bey Cemetery can be accessed through the main road to Chunuk Bair and a side-road to the south of Quinn’s Post Cemetery and Captain Mehmet Martyrs' Cemetery. The road is approximately 600 m long and is marked with the sign ‘57th Regiment Commander Avni Bey Martyrs’ Cemetery’. The Road extends downward to Mule Valley in the southeast direction and ends at a parking lot at the south end of Quinn’s Post-Mortar Ridge. This location is known as Zeytinlik Mevkii. A portrait of Lieutenant Colonel Hüseyin Avni Bey is located at the northern end of the cemetery encircled by a fence, and the following inscription appears on the marble base: The Martyred hero Lieutenant Colonel Hüseyin Avni, son of Ali and Commander of the 57th Regiment, Recite Surah al Fatiha to his blessed soul. (31 July 1331 Islamic calendar) 13 August 1915. The inscription was dedicated to the 19th Division 57th Regiment that suffered several losses on the first day of the landing operation of April 25, 1915.
