A martyr and an epitaph are situated inside an iron fence within the encircled martyrs’ area at Şahindere Martyrs’ Cemetery. The following was inscribed on his epitaph: September 18, 1915 departed the Young and Glorious Lieutenant Mustafa Efendi, the son of Ali Sadi Efendi of the 30th Regiment 10th Squadron. Recite Surah el Fatiha to his departed soul” Mustafa Efendi is known to have been martyred at the Alçıtepe (Achi Baba) Front.
