Ammunition Dump Martyrs’ Cemetery This Martyrs’ Cemetery is located on the right of the slope down to the port, adjacent to the demolished wall of the castle. The bastion soldiers who died at the explosion of the Sedd el Bahr Ammunition Dump during the bombardment of the Allied Powers on November 3, 1914 were interred as a group burial in the cemetery. The following is inscribed on the monolith of the Cemetery to the fallen martyrs:

- Commander of the Castle Captain Şevki. 
- Assistant Commander of the Castle First Lieutenant Cevdet. 
- Platoon Commander First Lieutenant Hasan Pala. 
- Platoon Commander First Lieutenant Rıza. 
- Platoon Commander Lieutenant Eşref.
- 81 Privates.
