The Viewing Platform can be accessed 1500 m to the southeast from Alçıtepe Martyrs’ Cemetery. The hill was the objective of the landing operation of April 25, 1915 and was selected as the first day target by the British and French. Viewing Platform is located on a dominant position at the highest hill of the southern front, and provides visitors with unobstructed views of the battlefields of Kerevizdere, Gully Ravine (Zığındere) and Krithia and the landing points of April 25, 1915.
